Jessica Edwards is a licensed clinical mental health counselor and social services advocate with over five years of experience. She strives to provide a safe and non-judgmental environment for her clients as they process their feelings and work towards their goals. Jessica is passionate about helping others gain insight into internal suffering that can lead to external problems; While encouraging clients to practice newly discovered information towards changing their lives both inside and outside their therapeutic sessions.
Jessica specializes in trauma, family relation, intimately issues. Her counseling approach is very goal and client focused. Jessica uses a variety of therapeutic interventions based on the client's' needs and treatment goals. She is trained in numerous interventions and techniques. Jessica is very active in multiple national and local organizations, including the Red Cross and Girl Scouts. As a military dependent her whole life, Jessica is very familiar of the challenges facing service members and their families.
She has earned a BS in Management & Information Technology and an MA in Counseling. Jessica is certified Certified Parent Educator, specializing in co-parenting and divorce. She is currently working on a second Masters in Criminal Justice and Chemical Dependency. Jessica is also in the process of becoming AASECT Certified Sex Therapist.
Jessica is licensed in Georgia, South Carolina, and New Mexico. She offers daytime, evening, and weekend appointments in-person and virtually to meet the needs of her clients.
